Obedience

Be not afraid, for Jesus is with you! Take this exciting opportunity that God has placed in your hands, to be a part of his redemptive work. Out of love for God and love for the men and women created in God’s image that God is sending you to, go where God has called you to go, say what God has laid on you heart to say and leave the results safely in His hands.

Jonah was faced with the same choice you are being faced with right now. He knew in his head that God was the God of heaven, the creator of the sea and of the dry land. But he was afraid and ran the other direction. In the process he discovered the hard way that God truly is the creator of the sea and of the dry land.

You don’t need to be afraid to be obedient today. For this opportunity is not coming from man, but from the Lord, the God of heaven, the creator of the sea and of the dry land . This command is coming to you, His personal creation. He knew you before you were born and has promised never to leave you or forsake you. You do not need to fear rejection, or how others respond to what you say. For they cannot separate you from God’s love.

Trust in your heart what your head says is true, and step out in faithful obedience to God.
