Life has not been easy for you over this last little while. The storms of life have been ravaging all around you and your family. The rains have been falling, the streams of problems have been rising like an angry current, and the winds of adversity have been blowing from every direction. It has been hard for you some mornings, to get up and face the day, as circumstances try to devastate the very foundation of your life.
And yet every morning you have faced the world with a smile on your face, and peace in your heart for you know that your foundation is solid. Many years ago you came to know Christ as your Lord, God as your Father, and the Holy Spirit as your Comforter. Since then you have heard his teachings, and wisely you have chosen to obey his voice, and with each act of obedience and step of faith you have solidified your foundation. That is why you now have confidence that this storm will not cause your life to come crashing down around you.
Continue to ask, seek and knock, boldly knowing that your Heavenly Father gives good gifts to all those who ask him!
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
