You are very
special, you are chosen! Your loving
heavenly Father knew you, and chose you long ago. He knit you together in your mother’s
womb. He knows what has happened in your
life. As the Creator of this universe,
He knows what is in store for you today.
You are
holy! As our holy God’s very own
possession, his Holy Spirit has made you holy, so that you can stand before him
without blame or fault.
You are
cleansed! All of your sins, those words
you have said that you regret, those thoughts, those actions – are all
forgiven. The blood of Christ, your
Savior, has cleansed you from every one of these. Not only are you cleansed, but Christ’s blood
keeps cleansing you. Even when you
succumb to temptation today, Christ’s blood will cleanse you.
As you go about your day, may our Heavenly Father who
chose you, the Holy Spirit who made you holy, and Christ who has cleansed you
give you grace and peace in abundance to sustain you.
What difference will it make in your day knowing that you
are chosen, holy and cleansed?
