This no-win situation that you find yourself in at the moment has got to be frustrating. I am sure as you go over and over the options and alternatives in your mind, there just doesn’t seem to be any good ways to move forward. And yet you have to move forward, and make a recommendation on which way to go. The scary part is that you don’t know how the recommendation will be received.
In the midst of what is going on right now, there are two important things too remember.
First of all, you are not alone. We have a high priest, Jesus Christ, who understands what you are going through. Jesus was faced with no-win situations when he walked this earth. One of these occurred when the chief priests asked Jesus whether or not they should pay taxes to Caesar. In this situation, Jesus is trapped, if he says yes then he is supporting the Roman occupation, if he says no, then he is against the Roman government which are both unpopular positions to be in.
With his answer to “give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s” Jesus illustrates the second very important thing to remember: Which is that God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, but they are higher then our thoughts; and God’s ways are not our ways, but his ways are higher then our ways (Isa 55:8-9). You can believe this truth and promise in your situation, first because you know that God’s promises are true, and secondly because Jesus demonstrated this principle for us in his life.
In faith place this situation in Gods hands, and quietly rest with the assurance and confidence that God will provide you with the wisdom to find His way out of this no-win situation. In so doing, you will allow the supernatural to breakthrough into your world.
