Why are you continually looking at bright shiny objects that are just outside your grasp.?
Before you touch, take and taste that bright shiny object, put your hand down and take one moment to pause and consider all the things you have and the relationships that you have. They may be bountiful, or they may just be a few. Think about who it is that has blessed you. Do not forget whose you are, you are a child of God, you are the son or daughter of the King of Heaven, you have a Heavenly Father, who sent His Son, Jesus, to die for you. Remember that He has sent the Holy Spirit to be with you, and right now, this very moment, you are not alone. He has promised never to leave you or forsake you. Why are you even considering giving all of this up? Why have you taken your eyes of the Cross? What is it that this bright shiny object is offering to you today that is better then what Christ has done for you?
Obedience
Be not afraid, for Jesus is with you! Take this exciting opportunity that God has placed in your hands, to be a part of his redemptive work. Out of love for God and love for the men and women created in God’s image that God is sending you to, go where God has called you to go, say what God has laid on you heart to say and leave the results safely in His hands.
