Fearfully and Wonderfully made.

Remember that God created your inmost being,
He knit you together in your mother’s womb.
Praise Him, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made;
You know full well that His works are wonderful.
Don’t forget that your frame was not hidden from God when you were made in the secret place.
God’s eyes saw your unformed body, when He wove you together in the depths of the earth.
All the days ordained for you, were written in God’s book, before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:13-17).

You are not alone

O LORD, you have searched me and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.
You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. (Psalm 139: 1-5)

The following was a verse from Isaiah 42:16 that was given to me as a promise when I moved over eighteen years ago, and I know it is true:
I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.

You are not alone, God has not forsaken you. Just as God was with you when you were here, God is with you right now, this very moment where you are. May the memories of God's faithfulness to you here sustain you, right now, where you are, today, tomorrow and in the coming weeks.

God has granted you a special, but challenging season of being alone, draw close to Him, and He will draw close to you. In His time (maybe sooner, maybe later) He will release you to a ministry that He has prepared for you, and chosen you to fulfill. Do not run ahead of Him, do not be afraid. In the mean time cherish the special friendships you have and continue to be a blessing to those both near and far.

Many believers before you, have felt like they have walked alone through the desert, only to look back and know that God was there with them. You will in time find this to be true also.

How Lovely is God's Dwelling Place

May your heart be filled with praise, and overflow into song wherever the Lord may take you. Remember to pause often in the awesome Holiness of the presence of the Lord whenever and wherever you enter His courts!

How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty!

My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD;
my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young— a place near your altar,
O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.

Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.
Psalm 84:1-4

May the Lord bless you richly as you continue to trust in Him!
